At LOX everything revolves around bagels. We make our dough ourselves, roll it by hand, boil the bagels in water and then bake them in the stone oven. This gives them the chewy bite and crisp crust that New York is famous for. Fresh every day, made with care and generously topped.

LOX was born out of a love for New York and its bagel culture. In that city a bagel is never just food: it is part of the daily rhythm, quick yet made with quality, and always connected to the place where you enjoy it.
That is the experience we wanted to bring to Utrecht. Bagels made in the traditional way, served in an environment that feels distinctly LOX: relaxed, stylish and welcoming. A place where you can drop in for a quick coffee, settle down for lunch or share a drink with friends.
